The property really is in the countryside.
Some of us will be going to Florence ahead of time for a few days, and then it's a week of Tuscan countryside with day trips to Siena, Lucca and San Gimignano, wine tasting in Montepulciano and Montalcino (Brunello), possibly an Italian cooking class, and even a day just laying out by the pool. What a great way to end the summer with good friends from the US and UK.

Yes, we got the first place we wanted (sorted out the other person's reservation with the agency). We have two spots left for anyone interested!
