Home past the holidays

Good news! My flatmate here in London won't be moving to Milan this winter as originally planned. This means that he, and I, will stay here in our flat at least until the lease is up in March 2007. He's keen to stay on another year, and I may be as well. Regardless, I don't have to be looking for another place around the holidays as was the potential plan. And this means that I can buy things for the room (lamps, small nightstand), kitchen (pots and pans, coffee maker), and living room (aerobed) with more confidence, knowing that I'm not just a short-timer here. Excellent! This fits well into my love for planning...
